What this covers
Pip's Science Lab makes science videos for young children and publishes them on YouTube. The Pip Uploader is a small private tool the channel's owner uses to upload those videos to the channel's own YouTube account. It is not offered to anyone else.
What the uploader accesses
With the channel owner's permission, the uploader uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos, captions and thumbnails to the owner's own channel and to read that channel's ID so it uploads to the right place. It does not read, collect or store any viewer's data, and it does not access any other account.
Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we store
The only thing stored is the owner's sign-in token, kept in the owner's own computer keychain so uploads can run. It is never shared, sold or sent anywhere except to Google to upload videos. The owner can revoke it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children and viewers
This website and the uploader collect no personal information from children or anyone else. The videos are marked "made for kids" on YouTube, and viewing them is governed by Google's privacy policy. This site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
